Atkins Savings Bank & Trust is proud to be locally owned and operated. The Board of Directors have developed policies that are sensitive to the needs of the area without compromising sound banking principles. Our profits stay in the community in the form of dividends and additions to the bank’s equity capital.

In January of 2023, Speckner Insurance was acquired by Atkins Savings Bank Insurance. Both agencies were rebranded to Compass Insurance. As Compass Insurance we look forward to growing and continuing to serve Shellsburg, Atkins, and the local surrounding areas. We know there are many options when it comes to insurance, and we thank you for supporting local since 1985!
